WHAT WE DO
Alpet Poundies Rescue is a small private animal rescue near Llandysul in Ceredigion, West Wales. We care for and rehome unclaimed lost and abandoned dogs brought in by the County Dog Warden rather than let them be euthanised. We also take in and rehome dogs whose owners can no longer look after them. See more about giving up a dog for rehoming.
We get no formal funding so rely entirely on donations and the help of family, friends and volunteers with the day-to-day care of the animals. We are always struggling financially but although some dogs cost thousands in vet bills, we will always fight their cause. We - and the animals - need your support. Please help if you can. - Linda White Find out more about Alpet Poundies Rescue |

OUR GENEROUS SUPPORTERS |
In the autumn of 2023, we launched a fundraising appeal to allow us to buy a new block of 4 kennels, increasing the number of dogs we can help each year. We are grateful to everyone who supported the appeal and we were delighted to reach - and exceed - our target of £10,000. A special mention to Shirley and Maureen Chamberlain, Jan Beddows, Stuart Toulcher, Jenny Parsons, and Animals In Need for their very generous donations.
More kennel sponsors: Florence Hounsell, Mayrlis Morgan, Rosie Doe, Jan Beddows, Mark O'Connell, Colin Mander, Sue Mander, Michelle Hill, Jeannie Camm, Hazel & Charley, Cardigan Tesco Colleagues, Brenda Evans, Julie Evans, Tesco Colleagues & Co, and Claire & Sam Williams have all sponsored a kennel for a year. Our grateful thanks to you all.
HAPPY EVER AFTER
HUNDREDS OF DOGS REHOMED SO FAR...Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supports Alpet Poundies Rescue and makes it possible for us to rescue the dogs who are abandoned through no fault of their own.
Your generosity allows us to provide a safe haven and the veterinary care they need before finding them the loving forever home they deserve. THANK YOU! |
